I dropped the bike and now the rubber part is lifted. It hasn’t affected anything but figured I’d ask if there is a way to get it back to normal. Thoughts?

I wouldn't care if I lost my rubber pad long term.... I'd grab the silver part below and bend it back to 90 degrees from the ground. Or I'd try to pry it up and see or look from the bottom to see what I'm bending.

My trail had 2 miles on it when my wife dropped it. Same thing happened. You need bend the silver post straight like the previous post said. Seems like a lousy design you‘ll never get the rubber part seated until that is straight. I know from experience

Thanks, y’all! I’ll take a look at that silver part tomorrow. Any idea if it will be pretty easy to put back or will there be resistance?

I took the bolt out first to see how it goes together I didn’t realize it was so bent at first. Big pliers bent it back easy then seated the rubber been fine for 300 miles now. Seems like an overly complex design for a foot peg and not sure the need for the bolt sticking down and exposed so far on an ‘off-road’ Bike.

I replaced my pedal lean feelers (the aluminum tube spacer) with a shorter bolt...this bike will never lean over that far in a corner for this to be of any use...except for bending your step when you drop it lol...

From the other pedal, it looks like it’s supposed the be sticking out though?

Like many others on here, I simply unbolted the rubber pad and did away with it entirely. The remaining serrated foot peg is much more "sure footed", especially off-road.

Straight up and down, you can see in the Partzilla diagram.

You can also see a metal tab inside the rubber step, which is what makes it impossible to smush around like plain rubber. That tab is supposed to be horizontal with the feeler bolt sticking straight down below it.

Thanks for the diagram! I did take a look and tried bending it back without tools but was unsuccessful. Will try again with tools.

I think the metal plate under the rubber is sacrificial in that if the bolt hits hard that plate will bend and the bolt wont snap off. Maybe.
Looks like you will need to remove the bolt and pedal and bend the plate flat again. Beware of mushing the threaded hole in it.
Like others here i removed the rubber part in favor of the serrated section they sit on. Sturdy grip no matter what condition my boots are in plus I get and extra 1/2” or so lower peg height.
