Pelican Vault ammo can pannier

Decided the ‘ol yeti zip tied to the side wasn’t quite enough. Because I’ve been commuting on this bad boy to work and run some errands like grocery shopping along the way- more storage space seemed like a good idea.

This iteration seems to be a “proof of concept” as the stock tool box didn’t quite fit with the longer bolts/spacers I was able to fit. Will have to get another 1/4” or so.

I’m thinking with the additional space away from the bike I might be able to add something useful between the ammo can and bike itself. Spare gas tank?

Added TPMS too! Found I was filling periodically and it’s better to know you’re running the right pressure when you hop on. Cheap insurance.

They certainly look useful! Spare fuel in the gap between ammo box and the bike on the left side (not exhaust) sounds like a good idea if you can make the container accessible from the rear so you don't need to unmount the ammo box to get to it. Maybe a 1L bottle or something like that. Between panniers and a bike I've used Givi S250 toolboxes before:

Updated to a cleaner TPMS mount as the cheap one it came with broke. Aluminum should hold up better.

Have been using it for overflow from the crate- I have put around 20 lbs in it with no issues.

can’t remember the brand of the side mount but it’s around in the forums here and everything else I got to put it together came from Home Depot.

overall I’m happy with the additional storage and I’ve been referring to this little bike as a truck lately lmao
