Howdy.

Would like to soften rear shocks a notch as described in the manual.

Could the members lead me to the proper "Pin Spanner?" I looked on Fleabay and they are all over the place in prices, styles, and sizes.

Would like to get one that won't break the bank. I figure it may be used only One Time.

THANKS to all in advance, Bo in Western NC

SPANNER, PIN 89215-404-670 Under $10 with free shipping from your Honda dealer where you bought your Trail. Under $10 plus shipping from any online Honda parts seller. I don't understand the reluctance to buy proper parts. I would think that Honda would be the first place one would look.

the double one can be used to other things as well. I have 3 of them actually. (and a drawer of stock ones i never use for anything) and it avoids a trip to the dealership.

I also needed one for my suspension. I'll have to ask how much that costs at my local dealership, I know everything I've ever tried to get through them is at least 40% more expensive than online, excluding motor oil.

you'll have to grind the middle pin out to not leave a dimple witness mark on some shocks. good idea though.
