Well, I broke the fastener under the seat and dropped 2 screws into that area. Where do I find replacement fasteners?
thanks in advance!

You can order new screws from the dealer. But you will find it’s a small fortune to buy replacement plastic. I’ve regrettably broken a few of the tabs on some of my plastic parts. But I’ve gotten some fiberglass and cut it to size and used epoxy to rebuild the broken areas. I have seen a plastic repair kit (don’t know the name) but it looks like a soldering iron with metal staples you melt across the cracks of the damaged plastic. They are pretty cheap, around $30-$40.

I did not describe the fasteners very well. They are “push pins” looking with a center piece that seems to get pressed down after you insert the fastener. The key seems to be AFTER you press it into the holes! The specific ones I buggered up are the 2 that are on the ( get ready for a technical description here) horse shoe shaped plastic piece that goes around a metal plate under the seat pan area. They are very small. The top is maybe the size of a #2 pencil so the insert part is between 1/8 and 3/16 maybe. Small for sure. The bolts are 10mm head I believe and the screw is a small cross point type that hold the metal plate in place.
thanks so much for the info so far. I really do not want to keep trying to remove the metal plate. It looks like I should start at tail light assembly and start moving towards the handle bars!!

It's probably this: 90116-K0A-E11. If you search the forum for this, you'll find @dmonkey has made a mention of just ordering 10 of them because they have happy little accidents all the time.

Easiest one to locate on the bike is the on on the left side panel next to the seat and the snorkle. You push the center down to release the fastener. When you're pushing them into the panel work, you raise the middle bit, insert the fastener, and then press the middle bit to be flush with the top. Does that sound about right?

For pushpins, try your local auto parts store. I bought a large assortment on eBay and have not needed to buy any since.
