I thought id share my experiment with a cable Left brake, I used a left lever for a CT 70, with a 60" cable.
Some tinkering got me some brackets by the master cylinder.
The results are, not great not bad.
I wanted to hold the bike on the inclines we have here in TN, I was having a problem not being able to hold the foot brake, keep my balance, and not drag the front wheel.
This does that quite well, down side is with a good bit of pull from the lever, or easier if you can tap the foot brake and hold the lever. 18 bucks for the lever, 12 for the cable.
Yes I would prefer a nice hydraulic system, but a bit out of budget right now but just something someone may want to consider.

I have to use my right leg to balance bike at stops. (left leg injury, have to use arms to lift leg onto peg) I would love to see this project advance.

I understand, I will post some more pictures of your interested.
I have no doubt that a all hydraulic system is better, most I looked at were for other bikes that needed to be adapted so just thought I'd try it.

I like it. I probably will not do it, but I certainly appreciate the info. Well done!

Thanks for the kind input.
Yeah if I was in the flats, I wouldn't bother with this eather. But on my 88 mile run today, it's proven to be a good thing, I will improve upon.
Even on some of the very steep pavement I could stop and just drag the brakes and back down a hill.
Kept perfect control.
Sometimes the cubbie doesn't have the power to pull the inclines,
And if it's gravel...😮
