I thought id share my experiment with a cable Left brake, I used a left lever for a CT 70, with a 60" cable.
Some tinkering got me some brackets by the master cylinder.
The results are, not great not bad.
I wanted to hold the bike on the inclines we have here in TN, I was having a problem not being able to hold the foot brake, keep my balance, and not drag the front wheel.
This does that quite well, down side is with a good bit of pull from the lever, or easier if you can tap the foot brake and hold the lever. 18 bucks for the lever, 12 for the cable.
Yes I would prefer a nice hydraulic system, but a bit out of budget right now but just something someone may want to consider.
