Prince of the Staplers (Johnson Valley, CA)

King of the Hammers was this weekend. It got me thinking that we could do something at Johnson Valley sometime. I'd probably ride there on Booger but maybe not. It would probably need to be sometime that isn't summer because...Desert.

Anyway. Does this idea have legs?

Other then it being in California, sounds like a good time. Me and my money are boycotting that particular State right now, and have been for about 15 years now. My Daughter had three locations selected for a destination wedding and Napa Valley was on the list. The wedding in at the Resort south of Cancun was wonderful! Just sayin!

I do know some guys that run their TJ's in Johnson Valley, looks like a tru test of off road capabilities for sure.

I picked the location for two reasons. 1) It is less than 2 hours from my house and 2) I was drinking last night and it seemed like a good idea at the time

Count me in! I'm within 2.5 hours of Johnson Valley. I used to do a lot of camping/riding in that area (Cougar Buttes, Anderson Dry Lake, Soggy Dry Lake) but have never been to any of the 'Hammer' areas. Pick a date and lets make it happening!
