Has anyone tried this for Ram mount installation: https://beezdeals.com/product/kitaco-multi-bar-fit-for-honda-ct125/
... or see any reason why this would be a bad idea? I'd like to avoid the cross bar and this looks like it might keep the phone from obstructing the view of the speedometer. It also looks like it might provide some more space to mount something else or lock the helmet to?

I couldn't think of a use for this other than getting in the way of my front saddle bag...I mounted several Ram Mounts to the Kitaco cross bar though...recently I added a bottle holder to the same bar (not in picture)...

Good point - I will order the crossbar. Ram Mount is being delivered today and will wait for the order from Thailand.

I received the Ram mount and it fit on the handlebar perfectly, so until I need space for other items I‘lol keep it like this. Most critical items are seat, luggage rack and pegs. Rode 100 miles this weekend, in love!

I have these on all 4 dirt bikes, I use the 125 for more of a mindless escape, no usb or ram mounts!

Curious, how do you attach these?
