Rear rack protection

I’m just accepting the fact that my rear rack will be getting scratched with it being used over time. Has anyone considered using a truck bed liner or having it powder coated? Any other options to keep it looking fresh?

Install a top case on it, and put your stuff in there. That way you don't have to see a scratched rack.

I found a nice teak cutting board at Marshall's ($10), mounted that to the rack, and mounted a Thule basket to that. Looks cool and the rack stays protected.

I mounted this EMGO...hold a full size helmet with lots of room to spare...the QD plate is plastic and protects the bed paint...removing the case takes seconds...
