Ride it for a while before you do anything too drastic. I find the handle mildly annoying on long rides but its usefulness for putting the bike on the center stand and pushing the bike around in the garage FAR out weight the minor inconvenience on longer rides. Thanks for the reply. I have read the complains from taller riders as well. I also real that some riders put a pool noodle over it to make it less intrusive. And some go to the extreme and cut it off. If I get ambitious I will look into rotating the tray 180 and see if it lines up. Cheers.
Might even be able to find a nice Honda red one!I did the pool noodle thing and secured it with zip ties and it works beautifully. I did this because I injured my tailbone on that bar.
Luggage Rack Bar Behind Seat... Ouch!
I'm pretty sure that I've seen bits and pieces on here about the discomfort caused by the luggage rack bar directly behind the seat. I'm tall and tend to sit near the back of the seat. I have a section of foam pipe insulator on the bar but still managed to crack my tailbone quite hard today...hondatrail125.com
