Rear tire and chain

I have over 3400 miles on RubiE and have adjusted my chain four times. Has anyone else had to replace their chain yet? Will inspect sprockets too. Oh, and I need a rear tire. I have been very happy with the stock tires but can't find any in Ohio? I'm on vacay and don't have much left on the rear. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. That’s a pretty good run out of basic quality items. I’m very happy with my 2.75/17 Vee Rubber tyres for light commuting and gravel backroads here. If you really can’t source anything, the front & rear tires are exactly the same size, although I think different load ratings. Just swapping front <-> rear could be an emergency solution.
