Recaliation and customer satisfaction.

The UK importers last batch of bikes are the new Gen 2s (2023 model). Their engineer that conducts the recalibration of the speedometers from kph to mph noticed a minor difference but didn't anticipate any issues. Unfortunately this resulted in a 25% error.
As soon as the company became aware of the problem they emailed us and set about resolving the issue. The solution was finalised just before the Easter weekend. I received an email Tuesday and requested the short but very informative video the company had produced to illustrate removal. It took me longer to brew coffee than it did to remove the clocks.

Packing and wrapping both clocks for posting took longer still. As my partner pointed out I managed to find a way to over complicate the wrapping. I did point out the delicate and fragile nature of her speedometer and suddenly it was a good thing...

All postal costs are refunded and an apology for the problem. A minor inconvenience for me but superbly handled, quickly, professionally and with speed, courtesy and humour.
I wish more companies took the same amount of care and trouble with their customers.
I just feel bad for leaving the bikes like this for a few days.
