go to most any auto parts place and they have a gallon bucket of carb cleaner, and comes with a basket. you just soak the carb in the cleaner for a while (time varies) then remove and blow it out, works pretty damn good and is re-usable for years and years. the only thing you might need to replace would be the main and pilot jets, but those can be freed up with a small set of torch tip cleaning drill set. about 8 bucks at the welding supply store.

Unless you're paying someone for their expertise in tuning the carb(s) on your bike, I'd also recommend DIY. Not much to cleaning a carb. Read the instructions on whatever carb or parts cleaner you use and be sure to not forget a carb in a bucket of parts cleaner for several days... I made that mistake with an antique Carter carb years ago and sourcing the correct replacement was a real pain. If you have access to an ultrasonic cleaner, I highly recommend pre-cleaning the carbs by hand first and then running them through that.

OK I''' give the 4carb. set a go.
I have two small Yamaha 4strk Outboards that I've cleaned the carbs on, wow they have some tiny parts. A little spring smaller than a bristle from a wire brush- popped off .
I searched the web and finally found a guy who showed how to install it.

Thanks guys !!

yeah, you got this Mike!

I would also suggest an ultrasonic cleaner. You don't need one, and they cost money, but man are they fun to play with.
JPMcGraw, hello , I was going to buy one a while back but I might be moving soon and have SO MUCH stuff already.
Likely that if the carbs look bad I'll buy one and have one more thing to pack and haul.

Thanks -Mike

A word of warning. Make sure what you put in there won't get eaten by the cleaner. I had this sweet Fly Ashtray my parents bought before i was born that i always thought was cool looking. Decided to clean it up with some vinegar. Pulled it out... its somehow dirtier... put it back in.... more black.... wait a second, a leg snaps off and the wings come out of socket. The brass (or whatever it was) didn't like the vinegar

berrymans carb dip 75%, 25% wd40. I've cleaned literally hundreds of carbs w that mix. Just got a new can today actually. also an nos yamaha rd crank in the bag for good measure.
bummer about the fly, it was made if zinc, or a high concentrate of it. vinegar will eat zinc. so don't use it on old carbs, they are usually an aluminum/zinc alloy
