Even being really careful, I managed to break both of the top tabs off. I guess this really is a CT afterall because I will have to put red duct tape or a bungie cord to hold it on. Lol.

I wouldn't think too much of it. When you look at the total cost of replacing all of the plastics on the CT125 it's something like $200. $100 if you limit it to the large panels like the battery cover and not things like the headlight mounts. The one you probably broke is either $27 or $33, depending on which side it was on the bike. Replacing the stickers is probably the bigger pain in the ass moment.
