I was taking it off a trailer and was surprised that in gear in rolled backwards. I’m glad it’s as light as it is. Is this because of the semi auto clutch? Or do I have a problem? My other bikes sure don’t roll backwards, but they have standard clutches.
thank you

Not a problem, it's the nature of the beast. That's also the reason you can start it in any gear with the kickstand up.

Mine SOMETIMES rolls backwards in gear, sometimes not, depends on the incline. It never truly locks like you would find with a clutched bike in 1st. I've found it mostly matters with whether I stopped the engine in gear or not. The same applies to starting the bike after I accidentally put it in gear while the side stand is down too - the automatic clutch drags enough that under the right conditions, the engine will stall after starting without some positive throttle input even after put in neutral (this would happen on clutched bikes when roll starting them too).

I don't really think about it too much. I do the same as I would on a bicycle - chock the wheels or use the center stand, or Voile strap around the brake lever.

I don't try it, but it may be winding the kickstart when in reverse. ive seen older bikes that do that, if so... its a good way to break an engine case. If you are transporting it and need it not to move, put a small bungee or velcro strip around the bar and the brake lever to lock the front wheel, always leave bikes in N when transporting.
