I copied this method from that Youtuber and it's perfect. Of course if your bike goes off a ravine so does your papers..
While it didn't go off a Ravine, I did loose a set of registration papers for another one of my bikes in the middle of the desert when the container they were in opened unexpectedly. That's one of the reasons why I keep the original document safe at home in a file and only carry a copy of it on the bike or vehicle. If I loose a copy, I just make another copy of the original, print another insurance card and I'm good to go again.

Recently acquired a 2023 CT 125. Where is the best place to keep the registration on the bike?
I've had good luck by putting my reg and ins papers in a ziploc freezer bag and attaching them to the underside of my seat with the super-sticky industrial strength velcro. It stays in place and is locked in when under the seat.

Yep. Reusable ziplock bag I got on amazon. Then 2 Velcro strips I got from work.
