ive never had issues but then again all my stuff is garage kept, 2 big dogs and guns and cameras and good neighbors. However, out and about, never an issue either. disc alarm will scare most off. Regarding thefts of groms and such, it was rampant in the uk , bike theft is a big problem there.

Here's a simple and inexpensive way to scare off would be thieves. The disc alarm lock. Take a look.

I’ve been singing this song since post 5!

pretty good product, the challenge is can you get the key in and unlock it before it screams to much!

I'm doing the Scooter Cannonball Run from Bar Harbor, ME to Eureka, CA., 12-21 July on Ruby, my CT125.

Here's the plan:
Depart Washington State with Ruby on a hitch rail carrier behind my 2006 Dodge Sprinter van RV. Once the race starts, my wife will meet me every evening at an RV park or motel within 1-5 miles of the nightly check-point. So I don't have to carry all my gear, just tools and stuff. My plan is to roll Ruby in the motel room if I am on the first floor. She fits out my man-door in my garage so . . . Not terribly worried about security at RV parks. They are usually safe. I am going to pick up a disc lock. Will deter most chuckle-heads.

I have many miles in the saddle on my GS, mostly, and I NEVER worried about it being stolen. I am way more worried about Ruby being kidnapped. I need to figure out how to cable lock her to my carrier when hitched.

I'm not worried about my bigger bikes being taken. The 125 would be a quick two man lift, and toss into the truck.

Hey Tony,

Matt from Invoxia here.

We've only been on market in the U.S. for a couple months, so I'm happy to see that our trackers are finding a home in the 125 community.

I'd love to hear about your experience using the tracker in Vegas. Don't hesitate to reach out.

Best,
Matt

Did someone already mention that it would be difficult for two people to carry this bike? If so, wouldn't locking the steering to full left pretty deter theft?

I've been pondering this myself as a noobie bike owner. I'm thinking that when my wife and I are out (she has a Super Cub) we could just chain them together making it impractical to lift into a truck and the SC has an alarm system. The disc lock seems like it would be pretty effective. If someone wants to steal it they will find away, Its more about preventing the crimes of opportunity.

You have to take a Wrong Turn to get to my place, and the hills have eyes ya know. Oh, the dogs are partial to Long Pig  They are a funny hairless breed, in fact they were alligators before we cut their tails off.

My YOHOOLYO Disc Alarm arrived today. On inspection, the $25.99 investment through Amazon appears to be of pretty good quality. Hopefully I'll never have to find out how well it works. YOHOOLYO.jpg

A lightweight cover keeps the rain and eyes off - would the low life rip a cover off on the off chance it is something of interest?

I live in a pretty low crime area. Sometimes I even forget to take the key out of either my CT or my Monkey.
If we got a forum deal, I would buy one of these though... I could probably think of a lot of things I would like to hide em in!

@mysticbus I created a new thread the other day but it seems it's still awaiting mod approval! In the interim, I'm going to paste it below!
