Took the bike out today to test out the mods, happy to report everything stayed on the bike. Mods include mirrors, seat, fender lift ( i always scratch the fender), golden boy 3.00x17 front and back with heavy duty tubes, skidplate, and 40 tooth rear sprocket. The sprocket made a noticeable difference in 1st and 2nd gear with no abs faults. Time to put it back on the lift and check all torque specs, do a little fine tuning on front spokes. I decided to cancel the spoke torque btw and do it by ear. Change oil and get ready for Cottonwood I'm really looking forward to riding with friends for a change. 😁

What has the sprocket change done to the top speed of the bike? Curious...

Do front sprocket changes cause ABS issues?
Have not ridden pavement yet to check top speed although I expect to lose a couple mph due to bigger tires and sprocket, some people report issues with smaller front sprocket installation causing abs fault. Definitely worth the trouble to switch in my opinion.

Let us know what you find out. A couple mph less would put my bike right on the line of whether I would take it on a short jaunt on the freeway... a 'few' mph and it would probably not be safe doing that... would be good to know what you notice.
