I’m noting a few improvements from the ‘22 model. I mean, they did change to a new engine! But, on a more serious note, the footpad on the side stand was quite notable. I saw the long gear shift shaft from the ‘22 and ordered an aftermarket support bracket only to find that the case for the ‘23 extends out about an inch further than the ‘22, and the shift lever itself covers about an inch of shaft as well (also different from ‘22, I think) I found the bracket I ordered might still fit… but would take up all the room left on the shaft. (between the case extension and the shift lever). In short, I think the “long shift shaft” was addressed as well for the ‘23.
Not noting an “improvement” but an obvious change, the speed sensor from the ‘21-22 models was a 3-wire part. I ordered a “corrector” (changing the front sprocket has seen ABS lights…) from 12 O’clock Labs and found the speed sensor for the ‘23 was a 2-wire.
Short story is; wanted to put a 13-tooth sprocket on my ‘23 but heard ‘21-22 had possible ABS light issues when fitted. When I ordered the “corrector”, found they were told the ‘23 was the same as ‘22. It was not. I’m working with them currently to get stuff sorted.
