Installed the skid plate just now. It's not a Motoskill brand. The finish is different. I replaced all the hex cap bolts, with M6 and M8 hex head bolts. It does fit around the Motoskill crash guard perfectly.

I loosely put the bottom plate on, then put the wings on, and tightened the wings first, then the support bolts. Using Blue Loctite on everything.

Like most every skid plate, the drain opening lines up ok with the drain plug, but it looks like some will still get on the skid plate and create a mess.

Did you consider the button head allens? Rounder to slide over the stuff?

Might need to hammer the allen into the bolt if it gets scraped to hard. Let us know!

That's really cool...personally I'm a little skiddish about piling on the pounds of accessories on this little Donkey lol...

It looks like mine has a skid plate. Am I missing something?
It does, that is just a beefier one, which is good as off road clearance is the only issue I have so far and the aftermarket would lower it by 1" or more?? I guess my new 244's may get a fraction of that back

G19Tony, I also bought Motoskill engine crash guard which fits just right. But when installing back the original skid plate on to the new guard. I can't get the 2 bolts in the back to align up with the predrill holes on the new guard. Did you have this problem?

I did not use the OEM skid plate, as I purchased another type. I did put the OEM plate up to it, and it did look like it fit, but I did not go as far as putting the bolts in. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
