don't expect much over time improving when its stock, i was never really able to get over 52-54 w out it being dead calm and dead flat, maybe. usually was at 46-48 myself for most of it. I know, lame. hence why i did some performance improvements.

This is my experience, although m in sc is much lighter than I am. Changing the tires dropped the top speed quite a bit too, I'm not seeing more than 51 mph with the SR244. 3.0 on the rear (and this was expected).

Loaded 50 pounds of lead in the Big Ant. That is 210 pounds on board, sure didn't enhance the handling any  :ROFLMAO:. Slight head wind 53 mph with a brief 54. Dumped the lead did the same run 55 mph, got there a little quicker. So the 50 pounds did make a difference but only one maybe two MPH.

when you put the 3.0s on, did you check it with the gps? because the speedometer will read slower with bigger tires. (assuming the rest is stock)

Yes, I recalibrated everything to be GPS and speed trap accurate as the very first thing I did after installing the tires and making sure they weren't going to suddenly fail on me because I made a mistake - GPS and speed trap match the speedometer. The OPMID cluster makes it a very easy, tool free adjustment, but I did need a tape measure for the first step of measuring rollout for the diameter number.
