NopeSorry for your loss. Was the steering locked?
Deguello-Could you share a link for the air tags you bought.?I'm finding either Bluetooth that only work for short distance, subscription, or Apple products and I use Android.I'm sorry you Honda was stolen. Your bike means a lot to You, just like mine is important to me. I recently installed air tags (discretely) on my bikes.
I also removed the chime from the air tag so as not alert someone that I'm tracking the (stolen) bike. They're cheap about $20 and NO subscription service
required!
Oh they have been super helpful, totally not rude at all and I'm sure they are working really hard on finding it right now . I'm a working dad, so I had to save for a long time to get my dream bike and outfit it. Now wherever I drive and I see something red in the corner of my eye my heart drops. Lock up your bikes!Crime in Portland? No way could that happen up there, it's such a utopian experience there now. No one has to work, no pesky police to deal with, what could go wrong?
Seriously though, I hope they recover your bike ,it's looks like you had it set up really nicely., good luck with that
Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. I'm still on the search for Android support. From what I can tell there just isn't a product like the Apple Air Tag for Android. Google is working on one that will be just as good...when it is released. I'll be watching for the release.I use these with my Iphone. So far, works great. I have other EUFY products so it tied into my EUFY app but they also work on the Apple "Find My" app also.
Great info as usual dmonkey. Thanks much for the links. Lots to mull overQuite expensive compared to the Bluetooth trackers but I use SIZZAPP for GPS tracking which does not require any subscription. I also use Invoxia but that requires a subscription renewal over time. The SIZZAPP has a lot more features specific to vehicle tracking, but it is meant to be hard wired which can be difficult to conceal since wires run to it. It sends SMS or push alerts promptly when the device is moved, tilted, or if it is disconnected from the vehicle power source (battery) and falls back to its internal backup battery.
And cut the speaker wire, or whatever you do to stop the beeping to alert you are being trackedIt was found today in a tweaker den with a bunch of other stolen shit. I went and looked at it and it wasn't good. Honda trail homies, get you some air tags this instant as I wish I had.
