Me too! If you search for manuals online a lot of the sites are just scams trying to get you to pay for an account to download a file, or just download malicious software. These both look usable and downloadable to me. Good idea to run any PDF you download through VirusTotal just to check before opening. Both of these turned up clean for me, but I take no responsibility for them!

I guess I will stick to buying them for now, I don't need that many and I know what I'm getting.

For working on motorcycles I certainly prefer print. Easier to read, bookmark pages, take notes on, and they're more forgiving with dirt and oil than computers or cell phones are.

I do keep a lot of manuals as PDFs on my phone though. Sometimes they're a useful reference out in the field. For longer rides I've learned to also do friends a favor and download the manuals for their older bikes in advance... I've never owned a Honda Shadow, but boy have I become familiar with working on two different generations of them on the side of the road!

I keep both. I actually have mine sitting in a cloud version control system along with all my maintenance notes. I also print the individual page references on printers at work when I need to do specific jobs. Could photocopy I guess, but the print version turns out better.

After looking at the 2 bikes, the supercub and the trail I was shocked at the differences. I assumed they were basically the same bike with different plastic and some electronics differences. However the supercub has the higher weight capacity at 331 pounds vs 260 for the trail, the supercub has an oil filter the trail does not have. I thought they were the same motor? I'm sure there's more just haven't found it yet.

The 2022+ Super Cub has a new motor, same motor as the new one in the Grom and Monkey with minor difference other than the big difference of the semi-automatic transmission in the Super Cub. The 2021 and prior Super Cub 125s have the same motor as the 2021-2022 Honda Trail 125.

Overseas the 2023 CT125 has been announced with the new motor, no such announcements for the USA so far.

Hi @bryanchurch06, would you be so kind and post here the valve clearances os super cub 2022+? I cant find it anywhere, I think it should be same as CT/Grom etc. but being 100% sure is always better.

Some model years are not consistent between regions. If your 2022 Super Cub is the same generation as the USA market 2022, in that it has the paper element oil filter that can be disposed of, then the clearances for that Euro5 engine, at least in the USA market, are:

Inlet: 0.08 ± 0.02 mm (0.003 ± 0.001 in)
Exhaust: 0.20 ± 0.02 mm (0.008 ± 0.001 in)

On USA market bikes the valve clearances can be found on the emissions label on the swingarm, might not be one for EU bikes.

Thank You for confirmation of values! Yes I mean long stroke version, so on USA market 22+. For previous model workshop manual is posted on this forum.

Yes, on EU there is nothing on swingarm (okay, there are tire pressures and chain tension), owners manual says inspect valve clearance, but it doesnt refer to any page and values, they are only in workshop manual or in Honda MaRIS pay and go system.
