Hello Everyone,

I am hoping to run the well known "Take the Puppy to the Beach" route from the Rhode Island shoreline north sometime this Summer. My understanding is this route at a brisk pace takes ~6 hours, and I'm not exactly an experienced rider so I imagine this will take longer or even need to be cutoff before the finish line. It will take me ~an hour and a half to get to the starting point and anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to get back home from any point along the route I decide to cut short.

For all of the things the CT does great it's inability to go on the highway makes scheduling these things a little more difficult. Either way I am open to cutting off early or grabbing a hotel if I can't finish up in time. Hoping to slap the Insta360 on my handlebars with a few extra batteries and see how much embarrassment I can catch on one SD card.

Anyway, if you are in the area and interested in some adventure riding let me know, and we can try to schedule this. I am going to buy some supplies, but do expect this to go sideways at points. That's what makes adv riding fun. Below is a picture of the route, a link to the GPX file, and the ADVRider Thread about this route.

Do you have a time planned for the ride? I am in Southern NH. Post when you narrow it down, sometime this Summer is pretty big window.

Nothing hard set yet I just know it's something I want to give a shot at some point this year. I'll post here when I get a better idea of when I want to ride it.
