Takegawa Clutch Install Question?

Ok CT Fans.

I am new to this forum but I enjoy reading comments on it
my question is regarding the Takegawa Hydro clutch conversion.
The slave is located in the engine case and they recommend using brake fluid to operate. What happens if the slave leaks and gets into the engine oil?
so I was thinking on Ebikes they use mineral oil so why couldn’t someone use that instead of brake fluid? If it leaked it wouldn’t be a problem?
Or I’m I just worrying to much as you notice a problem right away if it leaked?
as a bonus what do you think of this conversation?
As a long time big bike rider I truly miss the clutch..
I did get the clutch conversion kit and going to try it out..
Thanks in advance…

worrying too much. you'll feel the clutch fail before it leaks enough into the oil to matter. the seals and such aren't designed to deal with mineral spirits either so dont do it.

i did a manual clutch conversion before that was available, and it makes the bike much better TBH. good luck w it.

Not sure if this will help anyone down the road but the only difference between the JA55/65 kits is the clutch cover gasket and the clutch push rod. The JA55 needs 17mm, the JA65 is 14mm. Like a DA I ordered a JA65 kit for my 2022 from Webike so I had to make one out of SS on the lathe. Still better than ordering a new kit. I also added the Takegawa HD springs while I was in there.

Does it take off from a stop in 1st like a normal clutched bike now or is there still the "autoclutch" lag?

The auto clutch still works from an idle, or now hold the clutch and raise the engine rpm then release (faster acceleration). Once moving I can shift through the gears like a normal motorcycle.
Here is a pic of the bike, my son was helping me. IMG_9928.JPG
