Tire sealent

Thoughts on tire sealent, Slime, Ride-on or others? Anyone have recommendations/experence if either are good to use? Do they really offer limited protection from flats? I have only used Slime with a bicycle tube and it did not seem to work on a flat from a thorn. I did read some good reviews for Ride-on on Amazon.

I use slime or Stan’s, whatever I have handy. I like them both and use them in the dirt bikes too

I have used Slime and it works well enough to get you home to deal with the mess it made inside the rim and tire, but I don't like how it changes the ride feel, so I much prefer to use it reactively rather than proactively. On longer trips I will carry my Dynaplug micro infiltrator and a bottle of Slime. It also saves you some $$ if you go through a few tubes & tires without having needed to use it, can still just carry it in the bottle.

I have settled on this. Haven’t put it in yet though.
