What’s top speed with your 125 and favorite cruzin speed?

My fastest so far is 53. If just cruizin in town 42 is comfortable.

I've seen 56 on mine, but it's a 40-45 mph bike, on dirt roads I'm rarely over 30.

What cam and where did you get it? Was it hard to install?

theres a thread in mods on me doing it, lays it out. Less than an hour. was a TB cam i had leftover from the grom days i hadnt used. hard racing sells them and usually stocks them. and the EFIE, which is explained in the thread as well.

I’ll be just cruising along and glance-down at the speedometer and it will be 43. My trail seems to really like 43 mph

First week with the new bike so don't want to push it too hard. Momentarily up to 55 but as others have said, 45 seems to be the sweet spot for a comfortable ride.

Mine made a buzzing from the vibration of high rpm/speed it was the license plate holder. Put some rubber betweeen it and the plate all good now.

When I get over 45 the 3.0 tires rub on the front mud flap bolts. It’s on my list to fix but I don’t really go over 45 much...

My Monkey did 52 top on the day I bought it. I put a MNNTHBX intake on it, Yoshi RS-3 full system, and Tbolt USA Cam, and Cameron Jones ECU... I have hit 72 on the Monkey, but typical top speed is around 65. I am considering putting a Tbolt USA cam in the CT and also having Cameron Jones do the ECU for that as well.

The exhaust was around $550, the cam about $70, the intake I bought here in the classified section for $100, and the ECU was $300.
I also geared it a bit lower and have a 12Oclock labs speedo healer on it. I did front and rear YSS suspension as well. So all said probably in the ballpark of $1500 or so. It really runs good.

Here is a video of it. At around 1:38 you can see the speedometer as I am slowing, I was running about 66mph here.

Wow, 20 mph faster with a few mods on the Monkey. Just curious, approximately how much did those changes cost?

Brand new I hit 51. I was able to hit 56 on my Grom on the same stretch of road. I’m sure that once it’s broken in I’ll get a few more mph out of it. For the record, I’m 6’1” and weigh 230 so if I drop some lbs I should get some more mph too.

I've hit 58 down a hill. Only about 47-48 on a flat. It's most fun around 30mph.
