I've used Trangia cooking stoves for years and they're very good. They produce a 1 litre fuel bottle which I use to carry Meths in.
I got to wondering if it's safe for carrying petrol in as that 1 litre would be a handy little extension to range. I couldn't find anything on Trangia's website that specifically said anything about ordinary petrol/gasoline. One quick email to customer support and to quote
"You can use any fuel you want in our bottles.
Have a great day,
Med vänlig hälsning / Best regards

Then noticed it said gasoline on my bottle but didn't on the one I'd been looking at in the shop, which prompted the email.
It may not be the quickest way to get fuel into the tank but it'll be precise and clean.
