Last year Sneakydingo and I rode from Antelope Wells NM to the Canadian border just north of Indian Springs, MT. We rode a 22 ct125 me and a 21 ct125 Sneakydingo. I don't want to talk about the trip as much as I want to talk about the bike. My bike was way overloaded from beginning to end even with shipping gear home twice, so a bike that's made for 260 pd loads max made the trip carrying well over 300 pds. In the 2400 plus miles the bike ran flawlessly with a small period of rough idle and acceleration after accepting a gallon of gas from a harley rider in CO when the pumps were closed. Sneakydingo and I rode thru heat in NM, cold, rain, mud, snow and hail in CO, elevation with long climbs often in 1st or 2nd for miles and my bike kept going. I was so proud of it, I did all my own work and mods preparing for the ride, a 1st for me only possible because the bike is so well designed and simple to mod. By the end of the ride I may not have been happy with my performance but the bike was amazing. Why am I writing this now? Last yr suffering from long avoided mental and health issues I gave up and sold all my bikes. I thought I was done and the bike just brought up to many feelings somehow, so a lucky guy from Florida traveling thru SD bought it. And that's the end of my story with it whoever has it now I'm sure is enjoying it I hope so anyway it really is a special machine. Later after some much needed healing I wanted to ride again and the bike I chose, a 23 ct125 which I love dearly, but not as much as my 22. So in tribute here's my favorite pic of the little red bike who carried me so far, it's at a campground in West Yellowstone where we stayed in a teepee for the 1st time. Thanks my friend where ever you are.
