You guys find it more difficult to execute good U Turns with auto clutch? I'm getting used to it but not the same as a regular bike with manual clutch that I can feather...

That's what I'm realizing too...just sounds weird applying power while holding rear brake... 🙃

I have discovered that you can "feather" the clutch with the shifter by letting up slowly. I'm too new of a rider to know if that factors in though.

If you are very gentle, you CAN feather the clutch with your foot..but it does not have the amount of movement a hand/bar mount cab;e clutch has.
As said it is possible with practice. But the rear brake is your easiest way. Hold the revs at say 3 thou and then hold the bike back on the rear brake
do not touch the front brake. You will need to play in a parking lot. It suddenly just happens..

I'm new (first post) to the forum and don't even have a deposit down on a CT yet as I have a question or two. I'm very familiar with 'auto clutches' as I put over 95,000 miles on an FJR1300 with no clutch lever. What it did have was both foot shift and paddle shift, nice combo. So here's a question: I read in a review that getting 'bogged down' was not a problem since all you had to do was give it gas. I'm guessing that first you have to manually downshift it into first gear but being careful not to go all the way to neutral. I currently ride a Can Am F2 Limited with a 6 speed semi-auto and it shifts up manually and down automatically based on revs and speed. Someone please tell me just how the 'auto clutch' on the CT125 works. I watched the video and understand a little more but....I thought the 'heel' portion of the shifter was upshift and the toe was downshift. The video is the opposite.

First, welcome.
The auto clutch works on the gear shift pedal, the first pressure felt is the clutch, then it clicks into gear.
So once you get the knack you can hold the clutch in as it were.

Clutch is actuated centrifugally also: it disengages when revs drop close to idle. It can still get bogged down if the selected gear is too high but won’t actually stall. It’s similar to a CVT scooter or skidoo when moving off or coming to rest, except you have to manually shift between N and 4 gears once moving.
Edit: Michael Mineart’s YT channel has some excellent footage of a functioning cutaway CT90 engine, which shows the clutch and gearbox working in technical detail. There’s also an excellent demonstration of the simple auto clutch adjustment procedure.
