Does anyone have an idea of what future colors/years Honda will bring to the US, and when Red might be returning?

if history is any indication- Orange may come around, or silver/brown to the US. I wish I had held out for a yellow one now instead of my red.

So far the official colors across the years and markets have been:

Red: Glowing Red (R354)
Gray: Matte Metallic Silver (NHB89M)
Brown: Matte Fresco Brown (Y215)
Green: Pearl Organic Green (GY157P)
Yellow: Turmeric Yellow / Yellow SunGlow (YR344)

If Thai Honda don't announce a new colorway for the Thai 2024 model year (still upcoming over there? They got the Yellow as a 2023) then I would think the USA *might* get a continuation of Yellow, or finally get gray/silver, for 2025. The reason I think gray/silver has better odds than brown is that I don't think there have been any JA65 models in brown yet.

Our local dealer in Daphne, AL (Hall's Motorsports) told my son last week that he still has 2 leftover reds in the crate. I haven't confirmed, but may be a lead for anyone wanting a new red.

How is that even possible? Maybe they are just asking way too much. Or their inventory skills need some improvement.

Before the Honda Trail 125 I owned a 1988 Cagiva Tamanaco that had spent around 25 years sitting new in a crate at a dealership in Italy, it happens. Often it's intentional though. Bikes are bought by the dealer so they're not on their floor plan (financed), and then set aside for personal or collector purposes.

I've probably bought 20-25 bikes in the past 10 years since retirement, including 8 Honda's and 3 Montesa's - I have yet to buy one from them. Your first guess has always been the case. I've gone to Michigan, Illinois, Colorado, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi to get much better deals. The CT125 that I just bought in Gulfport was $800 less than Hall's.

Their Website shows 2 2022 Trail 125's in inventory:
