Well, I tried. Webike site allows you to go through the motions to order things but when it comes to payment, site gets stuck in the loading "circle of death". All good, found the items I was looking for on ebay for almost the same prices (some cases cheaper after shipping) and going with that. Zeta windscreen, tires tube etc. I was reading up on it and seems there are problems from time to time. Moving on...

Never got that far. The payment screen wouldn't open. Their shipping costs were pretty out there anyway. Already ordered elsewhere.

Yep. Again, not a credit card issue but I hear ya. I was not able to even input credit card info. Hit "pay now" and just got the page-loading "circle of death". IDK, there are better places to order from....

Ordered a windshield on July 25th. Tracking shows it arrived in Chicago and then went back to Japan. Delivery address in KY. No communication other than order receipt. Submitted an inquiry. Doubtful I will order anything else.

The checkout workflow is different for PayPal vs the standard way that brings you to a credit card prompt. The Webike site does go down for maintenance sometimes and can be slow and buggy, but I've always been able to try again at some point and put an order in using PayPal. I've had good support from Webike, to the point that they will mediate communications with the brand of products on their site to get stuff sorted out. One item was missing hardware, probably not a Website fault since it was likely packaged by the manufacturer, but they got the manufacturer to send replacement hardware. For a different item I had a technical question about settings for a speedometer that only listed metric measurements on their site, the manufacturer Takegawa told me it was metric only, Webike got further in communicating with them than I did directly and got the clarification that for legal or liability reasons in the Japanese market they did not provide print instruction on changing the units, but it does support them. Sure enough I was able to switch it to miles rather than kilometers. Other than that have had success with many custom parts quotes and purchases of unlisted items through Webike. Your mileage may vary, but IMO they're one of the more reputable and larger scale vendors with warehouses in Japan and Thailand that ship to the USA. You do have to be careful to not order parts that their shipping carriers or customs will reject.

Yeah, but they expect me to be out the $60 shipping when the package didn't get within 500 miles of me. They have their windshield back. I paid in advance for a windshield delivered. I didn't contract or arrange the shipping. Webike needs to get the shipping refund from whomever dropped the ball. They contracted the delivery, and not take the lame position of screwing me over.

I had a bad takagawa cyl they replaced under warranty, even though takagawa wouldn't. But i agree, the complaint on shipping needs to be made thru the shipper, not the receiver, just went thru this on an ebay deal with a vintage part that's near impossible to find, almost got lost in Tennessee. I deal with this at work, a LOT, we ship millions of dollars worth of industrial equipment/parts out every year here. sometimes shit just goes sideways .02

USPS says they didn't have access to your property: Out for delivery on July 28, and returned to Webike on August 20. If that is true, you had three weeks to sign for your package. Again, it the tracking is true, I can't see how this is Webike's fault. Again, if this is true, you shouldn't be disputing the charge, IMHO. Simply enter EL 460 287 032 JP into USPS.com tracking to get the USPS report. It's been my experience that EMS shipping always requires the receiver to sign for the package, and you should have received a reminder email or text, reminding you to be home to sign for the package. If the USPS tracking is wrong, my apologies.

Hilarious. I'm 35 minutes from Philly and USPS can't track a package within a week of when it's supposed to be delivered. What a joke. They have been bankrupt every year for several years. "trust me, I'm with the Government". 6 scariest words in the english language.

USPS lost a package of mine from Poland back in the spring. They attempted to deliver and I wasn't home so they held it at the local office, or so they said, it disappeared after that. I even got the supervisor and post master got involved to no avail. Ultimately they told me I was SOL even though they were the ones who misplaced/lost it. I ended up having to buy this item again a second time, it arrived as expected but then one week later the original, thought to be lost forever package arrived, stupid. UPS took nearly 9 months last year to pay out on a $1100 insured item they delivered to the wrong house. No direct number to talk to anyone real (stupid automated systems that leads to recordings, no local number to call my delivery warehouse, what an absolute $hit show. The couriers are awful and they never take responsibility for their shortcomings.

BS on the "USPS accounting". July 28th timeline? Lou/Leb/Out for delivery in 29 minutes. Gimme a break. I am retired and pre-paid $180 for a windshield. You really think I blockaded the driveway and disregarded a notice to pick up a new gadget for my bike? The part I will agree with is that you cannot access a location if you don't attempt to.

Webike has subsequently agreed to refund the entire order amount or to re-ship at their cost. Good reflection on them as obviously the USPS are the ones who dropped the ball. WeBike noted they have had a significant number of cases of items returned to Japan for non-delivery and they wouldn't take responsibility that a reshipment would arrive.

I am going to take the full refund.

Anyone have a windscreen they bought from Amazon they are happy with?
