WeBike Japan now stocking most Honda OEM Accessories

Looks like WeBike Japan is now stocking most of the OEM Honda Accessories for the Trail (https://japan.webike.net/HONDA/CT125+Hunter+Cub/HONDA/14328/300/mb/)). Took the opportunity to order the Honda Front Rack, Middle Rack, and Windshield to slap on the Trail. I prefer the Honda racks to any of the third party offerings, and with the cheaper shipping cost from WeBike the price ended up being a wash anyway. WeBike also lists a "Honda Carrier Basket", but it's $140 and has no picture so I opted not to buy it until I could figure out exactly what it is. Other OEM trinkets include the Honda Grip Heaters, Side Box & Side Box Bracket ($300 Combined 😬), Saddlebag Support, Accessory Port (Cigarette Lighter Style), Rally Footpeg, Folding Brake Pedal, and Folding Change Pedal (Shift Lever).

The Honda Windshield does have a note stating that it requires the Honda Front Rack, and the pictures seem to confirm that as it attaches directly to the sides of the Front Rack. Hoping to add some pictures/thoughts once everything arrives. DHL claims 3 days which seems impossible. Pictures Below.

Definitely not identical. The H2C Front Rack, for instance, does not have the bracket on the sides that the Honda Windshield attaches to. H2C is just another third-party parts manufacturer like MotoSkill, GCraft, etc. The H2C stuff is all very nice. I wouldn't worry about quality. It's just not OEM.

Good choices, I'm interested to see more pics with the Honda windshield and hear how it is once you get it mounted.

This listing of the Honda Carrier Bracket shows what it looks like, from a different region of the Webike site:

H2C are an accessory brand of Thai Honda Manufacturing, so technically, they're genuine accessories.

I'd be curious if anyone has a recent (2021+) guide to decoding Honda part numbers.
The format is typically: [function or component number] - [product code (which model vehicle)] - [classification number (supplier or part revision)]

My observations are that parts unique to the CT125 have K2E in the middle section, so that seems to be the CT125's product code. Authorized 3rd party accessories have a format like 0SS-ZH-xxxxxxx, and then there are the standard/common parts not unique to a model that are in a format like xxxxx-xxxxxx.

Funny to see the Honda heated grip controller there, it's the same generic one they sell for most of their bikes. IMO not as nice as the 3rd party ones, and the CT125 is an entry level model so there's no better integration into the controls and display like there are for some other modern motorcycles.

They're Thai factory accessories, so it makes sense that their availability would vary by region.
It's nice that there are vendors like Webike and BeezDeals to distribute them internationally.

I like all of my H2C racks and accessories. The paint finish is losing its finish but it lives outside in the snow, monsoon, and 95 degrees in the summer.

That makes sense. Similar to SP Takegawa and Kitaco for Japan Honda. They are listed alongside Honda's own internal accessories on their "Official Genuine Accessories" website https://hondago-bikegear.jp/bike/detail/23YM_CT125. So, while not manufactured by Honda, they are genuine.

No idea how I missed it, but the Front Rack and, by extension, Windshield are only compatible with the 23 Trails as the mounting points the Front Rack uses aren't present on the 21/22 models. This was already known thanks to this Youtube video which I completely missed somehow. Doesn't look like the new Accessory Plate (AKA Stay Meter AKA Gauge Meter) with the mounting points is available for purchase yet, but the parts diagram makes it look like it should be a straight swap with no mods needed. You can see the difference in the brackets below. WeBike does take returns so I may just eat the shipping cost and send the rack/windshield back overseas. Otherwise, I'll look into alternative mounting options. I believe it may be possible to use a couple 90-degree strut brackets and mount it to the Headlight Bracket like most Front Racks do.

On the plus side the Middle Rack should slot in no problem.

Yeah still to much for me. I do like that it uses the bikes key to open the box and how it has a helmet holder. I'd like to see more pictures of it. Since this is an OEM Honda part I wonder when or if it will be available in the States. And hopefully cheaper. Until then I'll stick with my cheapo side bag. I have all my tire change equipment in there - air compressor pump, tire tube, spoons, wrenches ect. And then behind it I have a First Aid Kit.

WeBike shipment came today. As expected the Front Rack/Windshield does not fit the '22. It would be a decent amount of work to get the '23 Gauge Bracket in, but I am convinced it is possible. Guess I'll just hold the parts until that becomes available.

In better news the '23 Middle Rack (Center Carrier) slots in just fine on the '22 and looks great. Had to get a bar to break the left side bolt, but other than that it was smooth sailing. Diablo Seat came earlier in the week as well. Per the usual, glamour shots are below, and yes I did install this in the dark of my shed with a flashlight. That should tell you how easy it was.

My shipment came today, just read the part about the front carrier fitment? I am installing these tomorrow as it's a heatwave in South Dakota almost 40 degrees, was going to go skinny dipping but since the parts came I'll install my USB charger and the racks
