and while you are out and about let’s see what tune and structure nods to Captain Fremont …There's a stretch of roadway here in California which, when driven at the correct speed 'plays' through the tires plays the "William Tell Overture". I've not tried riding it on my other bike which has Golden Boy tires over it, but now I'm curious what they would play if I rode it there
Captain Fremont was a really ineresting fellow. I continue to be amazed how many places in the West are named for or after him and just how involved in the West he truly was. Whether that was a good or bad thing is open for debate. Regardless, the man was good at getting his name out there LOL!
And he was indeed Golden!!
