Which octane are you using?

I saw that in Nevada on the way to the salt flats 2 years ago. I ran it in the shitball rental ford ecosport we had (the ecoshart) on it for a full tank just to see. It made zero difference in that thing, but i certainly wouldn't want to run it in anything i cared about either. i also hit the salt flats in that turd. Hopefully its rusted into oblivion by now. On the trail, i have always run premium just because, but 87 is fine on a stock bike.

Octane higher than 87 will do nothing for a trail 125.

performance wise? no. on hot days with high compression mods, it 'can' help with predetonation reduction. also, there are usually better additives /detergents in premium,. but 99% of the users will see no benefit.
