I had a deposit at one local dealer and my name on the list at another. Last Friday just messing around I went to cycle trader and put Honda trail 125 in the search. Several dealers came up and I emailed all of them within 500 miles. I asked if they had one in stock. Well next morning a dealer in Cleburne Texas about 250 miles from me called and said they just got one in Friday late. I gave them my credit card, went up and picked it up Saturday. I guess I was lucky. These bikes just show up at dealers randomly. Some of you may want to try it. It worked for me.

I got one! Guy who put deposit down backed out so I snagged it quick. Shout out to Dreyer Honda South. Nice weather so I've been cruising around breaking it in. Tool box latch sucks and contents were lost due to dealer or manufacturer but I've tried securing it and it still pops open. I want to mount something else there.

Yeah I lost the contents from my tool box also on the first ride.

Don't get discouraged...you may have to hunt out of state...there were two in my area but when I went to see them, they were sold the day before to someone from 3 states away so people are hunting them...I ended up sending out requests to dealers over 100 mile radius away and got lucky when one called to let me know they have one just arrived...I drove two hours with cash to seal the deal...keep trying...

Bought one three weeks ago .sitting during coffee time called around.and found one in jersey. Told boss Leas leaving to make down payment.picked up on back of subaru.(home made rack)on Saturday. Had to get another for wife.on order from different dealer in jersey.

I went to google maps typ honda motor cycle dealers. I found one .bought it found another for wife on order. Talked to dealer in stamford conn. He had one that some body backed out of. on order or wait till march.

I got deposits down at a few dealerships in a attempt to increase my chances. I heard a rumor that dealerships are only receiving one each so if you aren't at the top of a waiting list you might have to wait until the next shipment or longer to get one. I'm not very patient when it comes to getting a new bike so I really hoping that one of the dealerships comes through in the first shipment.

My dealer has one in stock. It is sold, waiting for the buyer to pick it up. The next four that he gets are also sold. So each dealer is getting more than one.

One of the dealers local to me (not the one I purchased from though), had a waitlist of 17 people. In October. Crazy.

Only one of the dealers in our town (in the Texas Panhandle) got a 125 in, and they said it was sold. However, yesterday they told my friend that works there that the guy backed out. So, now it is sitting in my garage. Rode it around for a couple of hours today, but I got cold! It's going to be so much fun!

Contacted multiple dealers in and around Nor-Cal. Most had long, double digit waitlists. Found a high volume Honda Powersports dealer with a short list. On Jan 11, a deposit put me at #3. Estimate was 60 to 90 days. Sales guy said hes certain I will get one and likely at the 6-8 week mark.

Its remarkable that there is not a published mfg forecast for the us...
