Will this part fit on the 125?

I am not well versed on the differences between the monkeys engine and the trail 125.
I talked to Hard Racing and they said they could not deny nor confirm if this would fit the Trail.
They did say that they had sold several to trail owners and none had been returned as of yet but they said many people don't install parts as soon as they get them.
If anyone has any knowledge, I would appreciate it.
The idea of having a filter appeals to me.
Thanks in advance.

I think you would be out of luck with that Kitaco cover on a Trail 125. There's the whole manual clutch vs centrifugal clutch thing, for instance the Trail has the clutch adjusting screw/nut protruding out of that cover.
I fully understand the draw of a removable oil filter, but don't discount the effectiveness of the centrifugal filter these motors come with. The motor is entirely (maybe almost entirely?) built with roller element bearings, and they've built over 100 million of this basic motor and they seem to last forever as long as they don't run out of oil.

It's funny, the ad for that cover shows bullet point #3: "Built in SITE GLASS for Oil Level Check (Big Plus)". Actually the Monkey already has a sight (site?) glass in the cover. Maybe be a leftover from the Grom application?

you could make it work but def not a bolt on and manual clutch conversion would be required, also machining th eboss for a kick start or eliminating it.. I had that on my grom, was a good part for sure. but direct bolt on to the CT? nope.
