For just a little bit of a rewind I am the guy who over-torqued my drain plug and stripped it. I opted to upsize the plug to 14mm and did a drill/tap on it to get it there. I wanted to do a quick interval oil change just to make sure the filter caught anything I did not get out when flushing it. Today I did the oil change only 100 miles after the drill/tap. WOW! the filter caught a lot of crud that was left behind and I am glad to have an actual filter to change out on the '23's and up. All the crud was isolated to one pleat and I did not take notice as to where that pleat was "clock positioned" at. I cleaned out the whole filter housing and no other shavings were found.
I do see flecks of blue material in with the junk- sealant material?
Anyways, after all I went through I am actually kinda at peace with the bike again- I mean I did an oil change and did not break anything!!
