    Met another one!

I have yet to see another one in south central Oklahoma since I started lusting after owning one about a year ago

Riding in the desert in southern NM

Looks just like the BLM land I used to ride thru on my ATV and later my jeep all the years I lived in Las Cruces. I would definitely do some mods to my 125 (tires and fender clearance to start) before I ever rode it around Cruces thru anything but around the river or bottom lands. But...

    Is this sticker important?

Its as important and critical as those big square sewn on tags on the end of new pillows. All sorts of bad luck will follow you around if you remove it !

Warranty - Only for original owner ?

Thanks to all, will talk to the local dealer to verify. First answer I got from them was "Not sure, we'll get back to you". And of course they didn't LOL.

Warranty - Only for original owner ?

Bought a friends Trail with barely 600 miles on it, great bike, no issues. Got to thinking what would happen if it needs "warranty" work done here at the local Honda Powersports/dealer. Wondering if it's under warranty regardless if I'm not the original purchaser ? Anyone have any idea ?

    Motorcycle Helmet

First Moto accident I responded to as a Deputy about 12 years ago, man and wife on big Harley riding about 50 mph on 2 lane county road. SUV pulled out in front of them from side street (driver "didn't ever see them"). Harley T boned SUV around 35, driver and passenger (wife) airborne over...

    Boots and Jacket

I use my old Army goretex rain pants and parka (woodland camo) for inclement weather but with a reflective vest I have left over from my LEO days. If cold I plan on wearing an old leather jacket under that, plenty big enough for that and even could put on a polar fleece jacket under that if I...

Motorcycle Safety Foundation Advanced Rider Course

I did figure out that I hated the Grom as it was way too easy to stall out, two of the three in my class had same problem. It drove me crazy from start to finish.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation Advanced Rider Course

Got a chuckle from other's experience with the Beginners course. Makes my own failure at practical exercise portion of my Beginners course easier to take LOL. My last two wheeled experience was lets say "many decades" ago on both a Honda 50 and 75 (early 1970's?). Been riding ATV's off and...

Silly messenging service only allows 420 characters %^(. Anyways, once I get thru getting a license I plan on hittling back roads on long day trips around OK. Figure you can drive anywhere in OK on these little county roads. If you ever want to do a mini meet, give me a holler! Cheers again...

Hey, hope this last lead your following works out for you. No luck with anymore showing up in Lawton. I'm basically an old fart down here in Elgin who once long ago in another life (teenage one) had a Honda 75 and got the hankering to get one of these new Honda's got too much so picked one...

What do you think of the bike now?

Exactly what I expected. It's quiet capable running around town (small town in Oklahoma, one McDonalds, one grocery store size) and a hoot on all those back roads/dirt roads out here on the prairie, along with the fields and woods. But on highways with limits over 45, no way. Perfect...

    Honda Trail Chinese copy

I've lived for a number of years in Paraguay and that country, and most of S. America, are literally clogged with Chinese Moto's. They are more brand names than most normal people can remember and about the biggest engines on them are 150's. Styling is all over the place but every family...
