    Best non-BBK power mods?

Wow this one was running lean enough, too much so after just a de cat and opening up the intake. After some good advice on here and I add the little EFIE device boy, what a difference. Funny because I bought a 143 BBK, Cam and finbro head, But at this point for me I'm not seeing the need to go...

    Best non-BBK power mods?

I didn't think about them changing the exhaust in the newer models, perhaps they run a bit cleaner or maybe something they did early on to pass US emissions?

New Member and potential Trail 125 owner.

I'm 6'4" and 217 lb, the trail can work for you but with a few mods. You will be sitting on the bar that is on the rack, so a long seat is a must, and rotate the handle bar brackets forward, Get rid of the heal toe shifter for the standard type. I ended up making a seat to work for me, but that...

    Best non-BBK power mods?

Just a heads up, there's two cats in the exhaust.. The one that you see in the head pipe, but also in the muffler itself. I did post it somewhere on here last season.

    Heidenau K46 tire's

So far only street rides but hit my Usual 52 mph without the wheel hop I haven't been off road yet, until I get back to TN, one thing I have noticed is that there is a noticable amount of mass, and effort in turning and getting up to speed but no more than the shinko's. I still feel for the...

    Heidenau K46 tire's

Another tire to consider, these Heidenau K 46, I've not had a lot of luck with the shinko's eather for my lack of skills mounting them, or they are out of round or perhaps the ones I got were defective. So with these, I've eather got something good, I accidentally did something right or what...

Ride results with exaust / EFI

I can say after a 1000 miles of riding mountains and flats I have not noticed any mileage loss , but maybe other people have.

Ride results with exaust / EFI

Thanks for the correction and advice, it really made a difference over just the exaust and intake. I was quite surprised!

Ride results with exaust / EFI

Yeah well the exhaust took the most time as there is two cats, and you have to cut the tapered part of the muffler off to remove them. Then the NK pipe ( on eBay) slides in where the original pipe / cat was. It takes a bit of fitting, then welding the cone peice back on. I'm sure a after market...

Ride results with exaust / EFI

I thought I'd pass on the results of my minor mods on cubbie for those who have the new bikes trying to decide to bbk or not. So on my 2021, stock engine, with both cats removed and only the NK head pipe, and a simple opening of the air box, ( a PVC tube and a radiator hose) the change was quite...

    Poor man's left hand brake

Thanks for the kind input. Yeah if I was in the flats, I wouldn't bother with this eather. But on my 88 mile run today, it's proven to be a good thing, I will improve upon. Even on some of the very steep pavement I could stop and just drag the brakes and back down a hill. Kept perfect control...

    Poor man's left hand brake

I understand, I will post some more pictures of your interested. I have no doubt that a all hydraulic system is better, most I looked at were for other bikes that needed to be adapted so just thought I'd try it.

    Poor man's left hand brake

I thought id share my experiment with a cable Left brake, I used a left lever for a CT 70, with a 60" cable. Some tinkering got me some brackets by the master cylinder. The results are, not great not bad. I wanted to hold the bike on the inclines we have here in TN, I was having a problem not...
