Tire Talc or No Tire Talc ?

Just changed to the Shinko 241 tires and used tire talc in the process and am now wondering if that was a mistake. On the second ride the rear valve stem ripped out of the tube and am wondering if that may have been because of using tire talc. One thing about it is that the problem was caused...

    New Sprockets, New Tire

In trying to gear this thing down I had changed the front sprocket to a 13 tooth but for my use found that was still too fast so today changed the rear to the JTR269.42 from JT Sprockets, 42 tooth. Loading Ramp Came Today

Just got this new loading ramp from www.stepramp.com and on first glance think I’m going to like it. It is well built, the welds are nicely done, the quality looks good. Yes, in my younger days I did ride it up the ramp but that isn’t happening any more so this looks like the answer for me.

    Shifter has Been Hacked

The heel part of the shifter got hacked off today. For better or worse, but I just found the heel portion of the shifter was more of a nuisance than it was helpful.

Owners Manual, Does It Come With the Bike ?

Picked up the new 125 Trail yesterday but it didn't come with an Owners Manual and during the commotion of doing paperwork and loading the new bike I forgot to ask the dealer about it. The bike just arrived at the dealership last week and came as a 2022 model. I had been on the waiting list...
