    Heavy Fork Spring Option

    I just replaced the OEM Fork oil with 15w Motul. To my surprise the left had maybe 2" of oil in it!! No leaks, just shit QQ. So, I set the oil level @ 5.5" from the top. Stock springs and I'm 210+ gear(sometime plus 60 luggage).

    There may be a ADV150 in my future, just for things like that. When I plan my longer rides I always avoid faster highways. Even the 395 through Owens valley is a 70 mph proposition. Love the LRD and will pass it down someday.

    Sprockets

    Drop a tooth in the front. I'm 220pounds plus gear, plus about 50 pounds of bags, camping equipment, etc. No issues at all. Last summer I did an 1100 mile adventure ride in up to 100+ weather and no overheating ussies. Ofcourse, you could always carry the larger front sprocket and change out.
