Just a heads up for anyone considering the "SKA Air Cleaner Intake Filter Honda CT125 Trail 125" that Beez Deals sells, it's just a stainless steel wire mesh filter. This means the filtration area will flow very well, at the cost of not filtering well. Didn't realize this when I bought it, I was expecting an oiled cotton gauze and wire mesh combo like K&N filters are made of. What's interesting is that it looks like they took an OEM filter, cut out the filter panel, and silicone caulked in their own, which explains the price since it uses another filter as the core. The filter might be okay if you ride on paved roads somewhere without much dirt or dust, but I personally don't ride in that kind of place and don't trust the filtration. Might see about cutting out their filter element and doing the same thing, caulking in a different one.

I just checked my filter after 1000 miles with no rain for 2 months in the Oregon mountains and it's time for a replacement I think.

I was just going to order one....thanks for your warning. I found a new 125 in Paris, Texas and it is being shipped, right now, to Fairbanks, Alaska.

I ended up running a "Hurricane Racing Performance" filter that does have the oiled cotton gauze. It was a bit difficult to install because it's flexible like rubber rather than a hard plastic plate, but I've had it in place for a while now and taken it out and put it back in once for cleaning.
