Hi I still haven’t found a 13T sprocket for my 2023 ct125, any ideas?
The stock rear is a 38T, if I decide to go with a 43T do you think the chain will be long enough for the 43?
I use the bike 90% trail use, putting a 13T on would be a good way to go especially on the pocket book Ha!
Cheers

Thanks for the info when I went to the JT website those numbers come up for the 2021 and 2022 models that both have the JA 55 motors. I have been told that the 2023 does not accept the same sprocket as the older models
Thanks Brian

I have the 2023 and fitted the JFT273.13 today. It went on with no issues.
And while most folks consider the change “transformative” (14 to 13 front sprocket), with my ride today I consider it to be more subtle.
It’s a little quicker off stops (didn’t notice any bogging before), but all the up-shifting points seem to come up more quickly (obviously). Still very drivable and, with my limited experience, no drop in warp speed! Limit is still my barn-door ergonomics, not the power output. Wish I saw a bigger improvement, (there was enough that I won’t change back immediately), but that is my experience. So far… I will say that I didn’t bin the 14-tooth sprocket.

I agree, big change, no. Is it worth enough effort to put the 14 back on? Also no.
Based on other postings here the 13 brings my 3.0 tires back to the same feel as the 14 with stock tires is my understanding

I did mine today, and immediately went for a test ride on some specific hills (we have those massive hills here in Florida), where it bogs down... still does, but not quiet as bad. Wondering am I, if the 39 tooth rear sprocket that came on the 21/22 model years will fit on the 2023? That would put my ratio at 3.0 started at 2.71 (I think is correct), now at 2.92 with the 13 in the front.
