Unfortunately the OEM accessory cigarette outlet is only plug-and-play for some markets (Japan, Canada) and the accessory power plug for it is missing from the wiring harness in other markets (USA), which is why other options are popular on this forum. Would be nice to have the OEM setup, but the Amazon kits plug-and-play off the ignition plug.

Yes, hence the need to splice into the diagnostic plug and run additional keyed power via a relay. Just glad Honda left that one bolt hole under the center console.

The Kitaco USB Power Supply Kit for the Super Cub works fine with the Trail 125 and is completely plug and play. It comes with a plug that fits into the small red acessory(?) port right next to the battery. It is switched with the ignition. The USB port also fits inside the factory mount without grinding it out, which is nice. Best solution I was able to find.

I ordered and received the Product # 80-757-13100 Kitaco power supply kit for my 2024 ct125 but the red plug does not match the small red accessory port next to the battery! Any suggestiions?

That isn’t an accessory port. It is a diagnostic port. The accessory port would be behind the headlight

Your 2024 JA65 CT125 has a different 6-pin diagnostic plug connector than the earlier model bikes (4-pin) that Kitaco kit is sold for, so it's not going to be plug and play with what you've got. You could buy a Euro5/6-pin connector and wire that to the accessory USB outlet, or come up with a different DIY wiring solution.

I did the same but with a posi-tap. People on the internet seem to like those more than the t-taps.
Yeah, the electrician (retired) in me recoils at the T taps, but they sure are easy! I have used them quite a bit on my travel trailer, with no afterward issues. They do require being carefully plugged into or they won't make connection. After I learned how to do that they work every time.

Thank You, I ordered the 5/6 pin connector that you suggested and will try splicing in the two wires, I'll let you know how it works out.

Am I missing something here I ordered the connector as you suggested from Amazon but they don't seem to match up with the diagnostic port

Can you tell where it gets hung up? Are the pins straight? Upper left pin in the pic looks like it could be bent, but that could just be the lighting.
