The PCX150 injector would be from the older 150cc PCX model, rather than the newer 160cc model. There are different revisions of the injector but here is one others have run on the CT125: 16450-KZY-701

And yeah, Honda ditched the prior generation 125cc engine and instead updated their 110cc engine to 125cc to meet Euro emissions standards which are mostly stricter than US emissions.

Just putting in my opinion on the fuel controller

I had the Takegawa FI-con and can confirm the "cutting out/resetting" as you are riding. It didn't feel dangerous or anything. Probably 1-2 power strokes worth of miss but still. I switched to the EFIE and the power delivery and throttle are 100x smoother compared to the takegawa maps.

+1 for EFIE

I bought one of those listed PCX 150 16450 KZY -701 injectors from local Honda powerhouse. $75 Canadian. Installed in on my mostly stock 2024 CT125 Trail. Mine only has HD muffler and zero caty defintely free flow compared to stock choker can. Can say definitive better midrange power felt. Same top end speed but gets there quicker. Engine does not act like it was starving for fuel at WOT especially in the 3rd to 4th shift zone. Classic sign of not enough fuel. Give it a cam it might need a few more tweaks. This is good enough for now.

I wonder how the PCX150 functions when it is with the caty still installed, has anyone tested it?
I suspect it would be less felt effect due to stock being not free flowing exhaust. I will be continuing to log effects on fuel mileage over next couple fill ups. Have arranged a test swap with a fella with stock grom. They are aledged to have either 105cc or 115cc minute stock injector.

I wenf even further and thanks to cheap Amazon stuff got an LSU 4.9 Wide Band O2 readout kit for $150 Canadian. Took all dat to install and a few tweeks to the wiring harness and available real estate on the console to mount it. Yet to drive it cuase it's late after a long day wrlding wrenching customizing. It is reading 12.60sh at idle 850 RPM with the PCX 150 on the stock ECU. Added the tach hour meter as well. Had to rework my GPS mount and the glove box mount also. Very happy with the overall look thus far. "Flash" got moved to front fender to free up dash space.

Yes. The pipe mods were about 130km ago but it seemed a bit lean with stock injector. PCX150 is alleged to only effect 0-30% and above 80% throttle positions. The ECU should trim only the around town operational with a learned lesser pulse width based on stock narrow band O2 feedback. Only last night added the AFR test ride to see some numbers once we hit double digits warmth..Noticed that the exhaust it not white lean anymore when I cut in the O2 LSU 4.9 bung. I'm outta dashboard room or I would add oil temp and exhaust Pyrometer...lol

it trims all of it, i did wideband testing with a bosch 02 and a gauge last year? year before? this was on my 21. it affected all the range, and thats with a 143, cam, exhaust, and larger throttle body. again, just takes time. never ran lean after it settled in. also with an eife.
