i did. didn't do much. the main biggest primary reason this bike is so slow is the ecm tune. -primarily the timing curve-. you can throw all sorts of stuff at it, but the biggest gain is the ecm defeat/change etc. and IMHO there isnt a reliable replacement yet, like the groms and monkeys have. -IF_ i were to really try to squeeze power out of it, i would advance the flywheel about 8 degrees and put on a standalone timing controller, that's what we do on the vintage 2 strokes when we switch to cdi, and it makes -all- the difference there. apples to oranges but yes, it can be done on here. big reason we can get 65-75 HP out of a street ridden 350cc bike that's 50 years old.
(and yes, they run cool & reliably)
