Ed March has certainly been an inspiration to me in terms of small bike adventure riding. His cold weather riding with Rachel is part of what inspired me to prep my Honda Trail for snow use with heated grips and a rear tire chain and then use it through Colorado's winters. Not something I would have done on my larger and heavier motorcycles, but spilling the Honda Trail isn't as big of a deal.

His latest adventures with the mini Jeep in Utah have been very entertaining as well.

Ed March has also been an inspiration to me, but I think the most meaningful and impactful video he's put out for me was the one where he discusses why he and Rachel never worked out. "People travel differently" is something that I continually bump against with other people, and something I'm very mindful of.

I think Ed would probably have also appreciated an old blog from back in the day called, "Underboning the world" where they took two Symbas (somewhere between a C125 and a C110) and did some epic adventuring. If you get a chance you should go take a gander at that too.

There is a "suggested youtube channels" thread somewhere. Kiwigrom, SomeGuyRides, AsTheMagpieFlies and Itchy Boots are my top four.

No, never do that crazy stuff again. It's better to read about someone elses, while you are setting in front of a fire in a big chair with a knit blanket about you and a hot cup of Earl Grey.............dont'cha think...!

Totally agree with this, as I've found it to be very true. For me the true test of a relationship is a week-long road trip. If at the end of if we're still speaking, then things will probably work-out!
