So I must say, when I first discovered this bike I preferred the tan color to the ragin' red. HOWEVER, after looking at it for a while, the red has really grown on me. Obviously this is a good thing, since the US is only getting the red. I do think though that the rear rack on the red one should be black like on the Tan. Nothing my gallon can of Rustoleum can't fix!

What say all of you? Red vs. Tan, which one is your favorite?

I feel I got lucky, Red was always my favorite color so I'm glad if there is only going to be one color offered in the US then it's the red one.

That’s funny, I felt the same way, and the red HAS grown on me. (Which is handy since this year we don’t really have a choice :)

Red works for me, I painted the exhaust heat shield black though, the silver was a little to much for me.

I did the same...the shield doesn't get that hot so satin black Krylon worked well...

I also prefer Glowing Red for it's brilliance...for such a little bike, I like it to stand out for every bit of safety I can get...

Tan would be my first choice, but I'm ok with Red. Especially, since that's the only color we get, I'm going to paint my exhaust covers also. They will match up with all the black racks.

I was hoping for tan but red has grown on me and "little red donkey" sounds better than "little brown donkey". The latter sounds like something you'd unload in the morning after coffee.
I would think a brown donkey are easier to find than red donkeys in the wild?

But I still prefer Red...is everyone adopting Donkey as the nickname for the CT?

I like both colors. Would be sweet to get the tan one next year. Want a second one for my wife and two colors will just make things easier!

I think Donkey would have been a brilliant name. Monkey, meet Donkey.

I think both colors look great. If I had to pick, I'd pick red. I do like the black treatment on the silver parts.

Mine is a little Red Donkey. A tough, rugged, capable little friend and companion that accompanies me on adventures.
