Diablo crash bar with RIGID Radiance lights and PIAA mounts

The lights are not wired up yet but I'm just showing this mainly for the light mounts. The PIAA mounts are relatively expensive but are infinitely adjustable. While nearly every other mount is fixed to the bar clamp (you can pivot it 90 degrees to the bar), these allow you to swivel the mount also. Not a big deal if your bar is perfectly vertical or horizontal. But, say you want to mount lights to the stock "crash bar". It slopes back at an angle and any fixed mount would point the lights at the ground. The swivel option would straighten that out. You can see the side pinch bolt that allows the swivel on the last pic.

The RIGIDs are actually mounted upside down. Unscrewed the front ring and flipped it 180 degrees so the logo was right. Will add lighted pics once it's wired up.

All wired up.

Aux1.JPGKey on Halo/Amber backlights (useless in the daytime)
Aux2.JPGEngine on Low Beam/Ambers
Aux3.JPGHigh Beam on/Fog Lights on, Ambers off
Aux4.JPGAbout 20 minutes prior to dark. Started to sprinkle so had to put the bike away before pitch black. Ambers will look good at night.
AuxA.pngScreen grab from video. Low beam, notice lack of light from the bike.
AuxB.pngHigh beam with Fogs
TrailTee.pngProps to my new favorite t-shirt.

That's a mean looking crash bar and the lights look just the right size for it. Nicely done!
Thanks, would not have happened without your help.
I went with square fogs to match the turn signals and that windshield because the mounts look like a miniature version of the mirrors.

You're not the only one who's OCD....

The day after I had the lights mounted and wired I went to lunch with some buddies. As I pulled up, one guy walked over and said "Why do you have a crash bar on something that small?" I said, "Because I got some cool lights and needed a cool mount to go with them. That crash bar was my favorite looking mount. Has nothing to do with crashing." He just stared for a minute......."Huh." Hilarious.
